Biography

Amercian. Born in Bedford, Indiana, 21, October, 1937. Studied at the San Francisco Art Institute. B.F.A., 1961, MFA 1962. Independent artist since 1960 incorporating verbal humor in paintings, sculpture and prints; lives and works in California. Associate Professor, University of California, Davis, 1962-73; Instructor, San Francisco Art Institute, 1963, 1966-67; Art Instructor, University of California at Berkeley, 1967; instructor, School of Visual Art, New York, 1968; Art Instructor, University of Colorado at Boulder, 1968.
