Studied at the San Francisco Art Institute. B.F.A., 1961, MFA 1962. Independent artist since 1960 incorporating verbal humor in paintings, sculpture and prints; lives and works in California. Associate Professor, University of California, Davis, 1962-73; Instructor, San Francisco Art Institute, 1963, 1966-67; Art Instructor, University of California at Berkeley, 1967; instructor, School of Visual Art, New York, 1968; Art Instructor, University of Colorado at Boulder, 1968.
